Q: What is better, indoors or outdoors?
A: We work both indoors and outdoors equally well. That being said, indoors
usually runs a bit smoother since we are not hindered by the weather, win,
rain, or bugs. Additionally, indoors there are no “squinters”
do to harsh sunlight. We bring our own studio style lights and backdrops.
Q: What is the best day?
A: Whatever day is best for you! Many smaller organizations prefer weekdays
because it will not interfere with game days. Consider weekdays in the evening
if there is an indoor location, or even spread over 2-3 weeknights! We are
also used to shooting all day on the weekends as well.
Q: How much time do you need per team?
A: That can vary. Here are some basic guidelines. Small teams (Up to 15
participants) can be scheduled in 10 or 15 min. blocks. Larger groups require
20-30 min. each. Also add 5 min. if the group is made up of young participants.
We can help determine how much time you’ll need.
Q: How good are you at staying on time?
A: When teams arrive on time, we stay on time. Reasons we run late are:
Location not unlocked. Teams arriving late. Order forms have not been handed
out ahead of photo day. Bad weather. Scheduling errors.
Q: How do we order?
A: We will distribute order forms to the league approximately 2 weeks prior
to photo day. They should be handed out and completely filled out when you
arrive for your photo time. Payment is required at photo day. You can order
additional products and photos via our online
order system.
Q: Is it important for the order form to be filled out before the
photos are taken.
A: Yes, it is the most important thing. Remember we may be photographing
1,000 people in a day, and we will never be able to figure out who the order
is for if it is tuned in late. Make sure the child has his or her complete
order form in hand when it is time for their “sportrait”.
Q: Will there be extra forms on photo day?
A: Yes, we always carry extras.
Q: What about late arrivals?
A: We will always photograph the child that arrives late. However to remain
on schedule we will accommodate them ASAP, but they will have to wait until
we are finished with our current team.
Q: Can the photographer make change?
A: The photographers do not have the time to make change. Please have exact
change ready, or see the cashier booth.
Q: What about family or friend photos?
A: Family or friends can be included on most of the extra photo items on
the order form. Please make note on the form or inform the photographer
if there are going to be extra people in the photo. 4 people per photo please.
Q: When do we get out photos?
A: Our normal delivery time is around 14 business days, but we strive for
10 days. Some custom products may require extra time; if that is the case
those will be shipped directly to the participant.
Q: Can we order additional photos after the prints arrive?
A: Yes! An order form is included with each players prints, you can also
access all the photos from our online
order system.
Q: What if I don’t like the photo?
A: We will gladly retake the photo. Please come to the make-up picture day
for your league. If that is not convenient for you, please contact us.
Q: Do you have fundraising options?
A: Yes we do. We have special pricing plans as well as Action Photos! Please
have someone from your league contact us for details, we are glad to help.
Q: What if the weather turns bad on photo day?
A: Sometimes we can wait for the weather to pass. This will put us behind
in the schedule and we will do our best to catch up. If possible a “back-up”
indoor location can solve the problem as well. If there are no other options
we will re-schedule your day to fit your needs.
